On the mat

Mat sessions will be lead by Peter Gardiner & John Buchanan with support from international coaches David Flecha, Spain and Henrik Hemmingsen, Denmark. Sessions will be split into two main groups with different training objectives. Minors and Pre-cadets who will focus on randori and technical development while cadets and juniors main focus will be randori.

On the mat

On the hill

The venue chosen for this camp is unique and second to none in terms of outdoor training opportunities. The Crags Centre, where the training is based is built on the edge of the Queens Park in Edinburgh, 650 acres of wild hill and mountain terrain built around Arthurs Seat, a now dormant volcano.

Although young athletes will be tested during their conditioning workouts the focus is very much on working smart, as well as working hard. No caveman training here, smart workouts for smart athletes.
